The Halo Championship Series (HCS) has announced that Will withdraw Halo Infinite from official competition at the end of the 2025 season.. As a result, the Halo World Championship 2025 will be the last event. by the HCS in which the shooter title will participate.
While the HCS will no longer host official tournaments that are part of its esports circuit, it has confirmed that it will continue to “support Halo Infinite and the tournament landscape in 2026.” Details about the next chapter of the esports circuit have not yet been revealed.
According to a statement, 343 Industries is focusing its attention “on the next era of Halo.”and there are reports claiming that it is preparing a remastering of Halo: Combat Evolved. The announcement also reveals that the track will not return with a new Halo title next year. Instead, the studio will “continue to offer some light competition.”by assisting in the organization of non-HCS online and LAN events.
HCS events have become an important meeting place for the entire community. You have made it a place where, regardless of why you like Halo, you can feel at home and have welcomed new Halo fans to the HCS who may have never followed Halo competitions before. For the studio, these experiences and lessons with all of you have shaped us and the games, now and in the future.
