FaZe Clan has announced that it will organize the fourth Major of the Halo Championship Series (HCS). of the 2025 season in Charlotte, North Carolina. This will be the last Major on the 2025 Halo esports calendar before the season-closing Halo World Championship.
The event, which will take place from October 3-5 at the Charlotte Convention Center, will feature amateur and professional teams from around the world competing for a share of the $250,000 total prize money. Spectator tickets are on sale now.
This is not the first time Halo esports has come to Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2023, the city hosted the Year 2 Kickoff Major, where 78 teams competed in the inaugural Year 2 HCS tournament. OpTic Gaming defeated FaZe Clan in the grand final and took home $100,000 in prize money.
FaZe Clan is the third esports organization to host an HCS event in 2025. OpTic Gaming hosted the Arlington Major in April, while Spacestation Gaming will host the Salt Lake City Major, which will take place August 1-3.
Halo esports continues to attract new organizations looking to expand into other titles. In May, North American organization ENVY announced its return to esports after a four-year absence.
