Check out the Lego trophies awarded to F1 British Grand Prix winners -.

As part of the ongoing collaboration between Lego and Formula One, we’ve seen all sorts of exciting things happen. From special sets to working Lego F1 cars that were used in a silly and short race, this collaboration has already been fruitful, but was also extended over the weekend.

Following the hectic British Grand Prix, the drivers and winning constructor were presented with trophies made entirely of Lego. The “silverware” was created by Lego designers at the model store in Billund, Denmark, and took seven people a whopping 210 hours to build all four trophies.

The larger of the two went to the winning driver and constructor, with both trophies measuring 59 cm high, while the trophy for second and third place was 43 cm each.

The first-place trophy for one covered 2,717 pieces and weighed more than 2 kg. Each trophy was also built to represent the Royal Automobile Club gold trophy usually presented to winners of the race and has been since its inception in 1950.
