Giant Machines 2017 is now available on Xbox Series X|S – That’s Gaming

Giant Machines 2017, from the creators of the bestselling Gold Mining Simulator, will be released on Xbox Series X|S on July 10, 2025. Step into the shoes of a heavy equipment machinist and control seven of the world’s largest industrial machines. Feel the roar of engines, hear the hiss of hydraulics and see giant steel monsters in action. The game features not only faithfully recreated machines, but also a full story-driven campaign and an optional Time Attack mode.

Many missions, one goal

Players complete 14 varied missions in locations around the world – from the frozen landscapes of Greenland and the wilds of Wyoming and Missouri to the sun-drenched coastlines of Florida. The campaign gradually introduces each new machine and challenge through the story.

Throughout the game, players break mountainsides, move tons of earth, cut through steel, mine radioactive ore and transport equipment – including the space shuttle itself.

Machines that impress

Giant Machines 2017 features seven specialized, heavy-duty vehicles. Among them are the huge Dredge Mining Machine, the Crawler platform used to move the space shuttle and a crane on a truck for loading containers.

Each machine is meticulously recreated with a high level of detail, both exterior and interior. Players can work from a first-person perspective, see the mechanical arms, pistons and gears in motion and experience the environment from the perspective of a machine that weighs hundreds of tons. This immersive design allows players to not only control the machine, but also feel part of a true industrial giant.
