The Cure gets cryptic with their latest announcement –

Superfan sleuths online are currently deciphering some clues being thrown around by all time greats The Cure.

Some particularly devoted fans have received cryptic envelopes, reportedly from the band, and now they seem to have gone all the way back to the very first gig they played to further spread the word:

If rumors are to be believed, the poster – seen at The Railway pub where The Cure played in 1978 – refers to the band’s first album in 16 years, and possibly the last album ever.
