Larry David attacked Elmo on live TV –

Elmo is perhaps one of the most beloved children’s TV characters of all time. Especially in the US, where Sesame Street is a big part of anyone’s childhood, the red puppet creature is pretty much a national treasure.
Larry David doesn’t really care about that, though. The Curb Your Enthusiasm star walked onto the set of the Today show in the U.S. yesterday and immediately saw red when he… Well saw red in that little fuzzball. David then grabbed Elmo by the face and slammed his forearm against his head before leaving the set.

“Someone had to do it, cried David as he was reprimanded by Elmo, his father and the rest of the show’s presenters. Poor Elmo had only arrived to discuss his recent tweet asking how people are doing, which drew thousands of comments from people pouring their hearts out to Elmo.
