Amazon Games signs Wei Yue to head up eSports and competitions

Wei Yue announced yesterday Monday that she joins Amazon Games as your new director of competitions and e-sports. It is unclear what games Yue will be working with related to e-sports, but it is clear that Amazon Games has some plans for the future in the industry.

Yue previously worked at Ubisoft Montrealwhere she spent more than four years developing the Rainbow Six Siege esports in multiple roles, including esports product manager and, most recently, director of esports. He left the position in July.

Before that, worked for almost nine years at Activision Blizzard. in multiple eSports-related roles. Yue joined the company in 2010 as a customer service representative in Ireland, but in 2015, he was promoted to associate director of esports programs.working on Hearthstone operations in Europe and supporting on-site events for the game at BlizzCon.

He would later be promoted to associate program manager in esports, associate manager of esports Europe and associate manager of esports EMEA.
