The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has looked interesting since the day it was announced, and although numerous delays have made some people skeptical about how the game develops, the concept of a story-driven game focusing entirely on Gollum – one of the most fascinating characters in the Lord of the Rings books – remains a fascinating one.
Right after releasing a new story trailer for the game, developer Daedalic Entertainment has now also released a developer diary that talks about the process of creating the story, about his story-driven character, how they researched author J.R.R. Tolkien’s books, films and notes to get to the heart of the Middle-earth universe and more. Watch the video below for more details.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. Publisher Nacon previously said the game will be released sometime before the end of September.
