Lorenzo Cain Makes Incredible Must See Catch: Payroll Could Be Expanded

LoCain made a spectacular play on a ball in Monday nights game that has to be seen to be believed. After making the play, Cain was slow to get up, but did finish the rest of the game. He was given a night off for Tuesday nights game.

Also, Andy McCullough of the KCStar tells us payroll may be expanded at the trade deadline for a playoff push. While Dayton has already stated this years budget is a gamble given the $92 million is over his budget, it seems the stingy owner may finally be willing to put the chance at winning ahead of his pocket book. A much needed relief for all of those who have seen the cost of trying to operate on a small budget mixed with shoddy decision making. For once, the pocketbook and talent acquisition seem to be on the upswing.
